Cancer is when cells grow uncontrollably surgery is one can take as well.

radiation therapy is fairly common two either by proton beam irradiation, gamma beam irradiation, or nuclide injection therapy.

When cells lose control and keep dividing; dont know when to stop. keep forming new cells creating cancer.
in addition to this, In every one of the trillions of cells in the body, there is an “operations manual” made up of DNA molecules. The information in the manual is separated into chapters, called genes which are made up of small units of DNA. Genes are written in a DNA code that must be transcribed and translated in order for the cell to make the protein signals specified in each gene. These proteins are signals which tell the cell how to function.
Cells that divide are at a higher risk of acquiring mutations than cells that don’t divide. Cancer is generally rare in tissues in which cells don’t divide, like nerve tissue. Alternatively, cancer is more common in tissues in which cells divide frequently such as with breast, skin, colon, and uterine tissues.
Cancer is a multistep process in which normal, healthy cells in the body go through stages that eventually change them to abnormal cells that multiply out of control. In most cases, cancer takes many years to develop.
POSSIBLE TREATMENTS OF CANSER
The list of treatments mentioned in various sources for Cancer includes the following list. Always seek professional medical advice about any treatment or change in treatment plans.
Treatments depend on the specific type of cancer but some types of treatments are common
Chemotherapy
Radiation therapy
Surgery
Biological therapy (immunotherapy)
Hormone therapy
Combination therapy – different cancers respond to different combinations of the various treatments.
Adjuvant therapy – getting additional chemotherapy, hormone, or other therapy after surgery or radiation.
Neoadjuvant therapy – additional chemotherapy, hormone, or other therapy before surgery or radiation

Cancer happens when a mutation arises in a cell that prevents it from “committing suicide”. Thus, a cancerous cell will divide and divide forever, where a normal cell would have killed itself after a period of time. Specific cancers arise from specific mutations. For example, those with Hereditary Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer (HNPCC) have a mutation in their mismatch-repair pathway. Wow, I must be bored.
