- i know so many people have it nowadays nd they do get better but then again some dont. my great aunt was meant to come visit us overseas but she was recently diagnosed with it nd it breaks my heart to think of all the pain she’s gonna have to go through. her sister (my grandma) also had breast cancer about 10 yrs ago but she got better.

photofrin is taken up by many types of cells and crosses the membrane. Since it is a photosensitizer it will only become active when light at 630 nm is applied and the laser will be focused on the cancer cells leaving the normal cells undisturbed.
